GMU’s Jumana Al-Salloum: A moderator for “Quality Concepts in Pharmacy” Webinar

On August 1st, 2021, the IVPN-Journal Club listserv, part of IVPN-Network conducted a webinar under the title of “Quality Concepts in Pharmacy Practice: Turning Innovative Ideas into Reality”. The session was moderated by Dr. Jumana Al-Salloum, PharmD Alumni, preceptor and clinical pharmacist at college of pharmacy, GMU, who is a member in the IVPN – Journal Club working group, and the chief editor of the IVPN-JC Digest.

One of the speakers was Dr. Mirai Sadek who is an ambulatory pharmacist, project lead and a member in SEHA Mental Health Council, spoke about the Quality concepts in pharmacy practice. The second speaker was Dr. Nahida Ahmed who is a Consultant Psychiatrist serving as Chair of Behavioral Health Council at SEHA- Abu Dhabi. The webinar focused primarily on the collaborative role of pharmacists with primary care providers in mental health sector, providing a high quality of patient-care services.
