On July 5, 2021, PharmD students (Ms.Omaimah, Ms.Farhana, Ms.Nafis, Ms.Mohsina and Ms.Affana) published a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials in Journal of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics, indexed in SCOPUS (cite score 1.5, Q3), PubMed and other databases. The students’ conducted this research under the supervision of Dr. Syed Wasif Gillani. This article highlights the safety and efficacy of two oral antidiabetic medications. Evidence-based medicines and drug information services are the key services of pharmacists in clinical setting. The research opportunities in the college of pharmacy provide a chance for all students to participate in scholarly activities.
