On June 30, 2021, the College of Pharmacy and the IVPN Network organized a webinar on “Pain Management”. The webinar aimed to shed the light on some of the complexities of how the pain system works. The speakers explained about the non-pharmacological alternatives to help patients cope with pain. The webinar also shared new approaches to acute and chronic pain management.
The main objectives of the webinar were:
- Discuss prevalence, pathophysiology, and common causes of acute and chronic pain
- Describe indications and safety profile of NSAIDs in management of acute and chronic pain
