GMU’s Sharrol Jesmine Presents her Research at DUPHAT 2021

On April 7th, 2021, Ms. Sharrol Jesmine, Master of Science in Drug Discovery and Development student, College of Pharmacy, GMU participated in DUPHAT 2021, by professional poster “Computer-Aided Design of Novel Series of Pyrazolo Pyrimidine Derivatives Bearing Sulfonamide Moiety as EGFR Tyrosine kinase Inhibitors”.  The project demonstrated a work frame explaining the utilization of computer-aided designs to study the binding interaction of the newly designed pyrazolo pyrimidine EGFR Tyrosine kinase inhibitors and to identify possible inhibitors that could bind to EGFR with high affinity and better inhibitory activities.

This project is supervised by Dr. Ahmed Thabet, Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, and Dr. Eman M. El-labbad, Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, GMU.
