On May 26, 2021, Dr. Sherief Khalifa presented a webinar titled: “Pharmacy Education: The Past, The Present and The Future”. The main objective of the webinar was to motivate the audience to drive the change in pharmacy education and practice in UAE and the entire region. The audience was a mix of pharmacists, pharmacy students and pharmacy faculty. While most of the attendees were from UAE, there were about 40% from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, USA and other countries.
Dr. Khalifa commented: I was delighted but not surprised to see interest from the “Pharmacy Audience” as reflected in the Q&A session. Gulf Medical University is making local and regional impact and positively influencing the profession.
