On the eve of September 25, 2020 the pharmacists of Gulf Medical University and Thumbay University Hospital gathered to celebrate the 10th World Pharmacists Day.

The event highlighted the achievements of the first group of students graduating from the Masters in Clinical Pharmacy program at GMU. Prof. Sherief Khalifah, Dean of the College of Pharmacy addressed attendees with a celebratory welcome message followed by handing out certificates of achievement from the School of Pharmacy, Virginia Commonwealth University to the graduating MCP students of College of Pharmacy, GMU.

The students expressed their gratitude to their pharmacy professors and shared with attendees the value of the journey they had taken throughout their MCP program at GMU.
At the end of the event, students, pharmacists and faculty members did a cake cutting celebration in honor of World Pharmacists Day 2020.
