To mark the World Asthma day in GMU, The first year MBBS students very effectively conducted an awareness program on April 30, 2018.

They acted out a skit on this theme demonstrating the effect of smoking in precipitating ASTHMA in an old man. Their informative event dealt with various aspects like different types of causative allergens, symptoms of asthma, diagnostic respiratory tests, treatment, and precautions along with statistics of the immense number of patients suffering.

They also arranged various interesting games for the audience along with the presentation, questionnaire and attractive posters at various locations in the campus. The ultimate aim of these efforts taken towards the awareness of ASTHMA is to reduce asthma prevalence, morbidity and mortality and improve the lives of people with asthma in every corner of the world.
