Dr. Moon Moon Haque is working as an Dean and Associate Professor at the Thumbay College of Management and AI in Healthcare, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. Dr. Haque earned his PhD (Applied Economics) Degree from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, University of Memphis, Tennessee, USA. He also had a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics from the same university, and another Master’s Degree in Economics from Visva-Bharati University (India).
Dr. Haque is well trained in Applied Microeconomics (Health & Healthcare Economics, Labor Economics) and Applied Quantitative Analysis (Econometrics, Game Theory), and proficiently acquainted with relevant statistical programming (EViews, STATA, SAS, LATEX, etc.) languages to perform empirical research. Dr. Haque also served as a Journal Editor of APJMRI (ISSN: 2319510X; a SAGE publication) between April 2014 to June 2018.
In his 10+ years of academic career, his research agenda mostly focused on evaluation of state policies for societal economic development and its efficient management. In the immediate future, he would like to go with the field experiments in the realm of social norms in the healthcare sector. In the long term, he sees himself working on expanding his expertise in these areas by a mixture of experimental and empirical work.
