Today, 23rd September 2023, the College of Healthcare Management extended a warm welcome to the 2023 batch of students for the Executive Master in Healthcare Management and Economics (EMHME) program.
Professor Manda Venkatramana, the Vice Chancellor of Academics at Gulf Medical University, graced the occasion with a hearty welcome to the new entrants to GMU. Following the welcome, Dr. Moon Moon Haque, Dean of College of Healthcare Management and Economics (CoHME), provided a succinct program briefing which set the academic tone for the program.
Our esteemed faculty members – Dr. Sudhir Rana, Dr. Vinaytosh, Dr. Jagroop Singh, Dr. Najeb Masoud, and Dr. Lubna Abdel Jawad engaged in fruitful interactions with the students, sharing their vast expertise and the roles they would play in nurturing the students’ academic journey. Mr. Daies Idiculla, Librarian and Mr. Suraj Sebastian, Lecturer & E-Learning Manager played a pivotal role in acquainting the students with the university’s rich library and robust IT resources, ensuring they have the essential tools to excel in their studies. Dr. Sudhir Rana, Associate Professor & Program Director of BSc.HME, introduced the critical component of case study analysis to the students, providing a glimpse into the practical aspects of the program.
The day culminated in a lively faculty-student interaction session, perfectly setting the stage for the fruitful academic days ahead. We are excited for the bright minds joining us and look forward to an enriching and impactful learning journey ahead!
