The College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University organized a guest lecture on “Full Arch Implant Therapy: How to Transition and Manage Occlusion” on the 24th of February 2025 for MDS Periodontics postgraduates. The session was delivered by Dr. Rami Albahri, Prosthodontist & Implant Reconstructive Surgeon, Medical & Managing Director, and Program Director at Albahri Dental & Orthodontic Center, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Dr. Rami provided an in-depth discussion on treatment planning, occlusal considerations, immediate loading protocols, and long-term prosthetic management for full-arch implant therapy. He highlighted the latest advancements in implant prosthodontics, offering clinical strategies to ensure functional and esthetic success in full-arch restorations.
MDS Periodontics postgraduates and faculty actively participated in discussions on clinical applications and challenges in full-arch implant rehabilitation. The interactive session served as a platform for bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications in implant dentistry.
