Mandatory Training Related to Infection Control and Quality

Thumbay Dental Hospital team along with Gulf Medical University conducted mandatory training for all faculty members on the 6^th of October 2020.

The program included live webinar sessions by Dr. Fiaz Ahamed, Infection Control Manager, GMU and Dr. Pawan Kumar, Group Chief Quality Officer, Thumbay Group on ‘Infection Control, Quality and Patient safety’. 5 teams presented at the end of the workshop with a presentation on the topics covered and were evaluated by Dr. Pawan Kumar and Dr.Fiaz. The ‘enamel team’ led by Dr.Aparna were the champions, team ‘Dentin’ (led by Dr.Rushtom) were 1^st Runner up followed by teams ‘Implant’ (led by Dr.Dusan) and ‘Cementum’ (led by Dr.Vishakh) were the 2^nd runner ups.
