Gulf Medical University starts the new series of Health Professions Education Journal Club for the AY 2022, on the 22nd of September 2022 that was presented by Dr. Mohamed M. Al-Eraky, Associate Professor of Medical Education, Program Director of MHPE Program, College of Medicine, GMU, and facilitated by Dr. Walid Elsayed, Associate Dean of Academics, College of Dentistry, GMU. The selected journal article for discussion was titled ‘Joining a conversation: the problem/gap/hook heuristic’. The discussions revolved around critically thinking about a problem, gap, and hook to help in drafting a strategic introduction of a research article to be more attractive to editors and acceptable for publications.
