In continuation to the Faculty Development Series, the Quality Assurance and Program Evaluation Committee, College of Dentistry conducted a Faculty Development Session titled ‘Designing Digital Dentures: Selection of printers and resins and their effects on strength and durability’ on the 24th of November 2022 delivered by Mr. Noman Zulfaqar and Mr. Ali Miri, Senior Dental Technicians, Brighton Implant Clinic, UK. The lecture focused on the principles of 3D printing models, dentures, retainers, and the different types of printers. The session emphasized the importance of following the steps involved in digital denture designing such as initial correction, block out & design, denture base formation, and tooth setup.
