Thumbay Dental Hospital, GMU organized a workshop on ‘Medication Errors’ for clinical instructors and faculty on the 24th of July 2024. The session, led by Ms. Muhsina Chiraparambil, Clinical Pharmacist, TDH, focused on critical topics such as prescription errors, the significance of considering patient age and weight in prescribing, and alternative drugs for patients with allergies. Attendees were also provided with a comprehensive list of medications and dosages for managing conditions such as dentoalveolar abscess, cellulitis, and osteomyelitis. This initiative was aimed at enhancing patient safety and interprofessional collaboration in clinical practice.
