Dr. Walid Elsayed presented at a faculty research seminar on The Use of SNPs in Pharmacogenomics studies

Dr. Walid Elsayed, Associate Dean of Academics, College of Dentistry, GMU delivered a presentation on ‘The Use of SNPs in Pharmacogenomics studies’ as a part of the faculty research seminar series organized by the College of Pharmacy, GMU on the 13th of February 2023.

Dr. Walid emphasized on the use of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) (SNPs) in pharmacogenomics as it may help in improving our understanding of the genetic basis of drug response, and for developing more personalized and effective treatments for patients with a range of medical conditions.

The seminar was highly interactive which included lively discussions.
