Dr. Roghith Kannan, 3rd year MDS Endodontics postgraduate student, College of Dentistry, GMU received 2nd Best Research Paper award at the UAE’s first Dental Students’ & Interns Research Symposium organized by Appolonia World Dentistry, in Abu Dhabi on the 21st of April 2024. The presented research study titled ‘The Effectiveness of Three Rotary File Systems on The Elimination Of Enterococcus Faecalis In Single Rooted Teeth: An In Vitro Study’ supervised by Dr. Bassem Mohamed, Program Director MDS Endodontics Program, and Dr. Ranya Elemam, Assistant Professor of Endodontics, Department of Restorative Dental Sciences, and co-supervised by Dr. Pooja Adtani, Assistant Professor of Histopathology, Department of Basic Medical and Dental Science, CoD, GMU.
Dr. Roghith’s study provided invaluable insights into the efficacy of rotary file systems, shedding light on their potential implications for clinical practice, research, and patient outcomes within the field of endodontics.
