The College of Dentistry, GMU organized a student career advising session titled “Journey to become a Licensed Dentist in Europe: A Case Study of Portugal” on the 31st of May 2023 which was presented by Dr. Ranya Elemam, Assistant Professor of Endodontics, CoD.
The informative session aimed to guide students through the necessary steps involved in transitioning to overseas dentistry, shedding light on the distinctive pathway to becoming a licensed dentist in Europe with emphasis on Portugal.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about the registration process for national licensing exams all over Europe. Dr. Ranya also outlined the intricacies of these exams and shared valuable tips on how to effectively prepare for them. Her extensive knowledge and experience provided students with practical insights into navigating the licensing process successfully.
