The Department of Restorative Dental Sciences at the College of Dentistry, GMU organized a two-day workshop titled “The Art and Science of Ceramic Veneers,” for dental interns on the 1st and 2nd of April 2024. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Diaaeldin Saad, Associate Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics, CoD, GMU.
The workshop was structured to enhance both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of dental interns in the field of cosmetic dentistry. The first day of the workshop explored the theoretical aspects of veneers, covering topics such as treatment planning, teeth preparation, bonding, and the selection of ceramics. On the second day, participants were engaged in hands-on training, focusing on teeth preparation, and bonding procedures, providing them with a comprehensive learning experience.
