The Student Happiness Center at the College of Dentistry, GMU organized a career advising session titled ‘From Preservation to Regeneration: A Journey through Periodontics’ on the 24th of April 2024. The session was delivered by Dr. Bhavna Jha Kukhreja, Program Director, MDS Periodontics Program, College of Dentistry, GMU.
During the session, Dr. Bhavna navigated through the various aspects of periodontology, discussed the scope of practice in the UAE, and highlighted the privileged domains of laser and implant dentistry. Attendees gained insights into preservation, regeneration, and guided tissue regeneration (GTR) techniques, alongside learning about optimizing digital workflows for precise implant placement. The session offered aspiring dental professionals a roadmap for success in periodontics, aligning with GMU’s commitment to comprehensive dental education.
