The community engagement committee of the College of Dentistry, GMU conducted an educational event at the Special Needs Development Center, Dubai on the 29th of November 2022, to create awareness of oral hygiene practices amongst children with special health care needs. Dental students from different academic years delivered a short presentation and demonstrated the technique of tooth brushing on dental models to empower the practice of good oral hygiene. The event was fun and interactive, wherein students with special needs participated in playing board games pertaining to oral care education designed by Curaprox.
