The College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, in collaboration with Shofu, a global dental material manufacturing company organized an exclusive ‘Composite Artistry’ workshop for dental interns on the 28th of February 2025. The workshop included lectures and extensive hands-on training sessions to enhance participants’ skills in composite restorations. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed, Cosmetic Dentist, Egypt.
The sessions provided an in-depth understanding of light, color, form, texture, and customization concepts in aesthetic dentistry. The interactive lecture covered Class III and Class IV restoration protocols, followed by hands-on training where interns practiced Class III and IV restorations, including the palatal shelf technique.
This initiative reflects College of Dentistry’s commitment to enhancing clinical competency and providing advanced training opportunities for future dental professionals.
