The College of Dentistry, GMU, warmly welcomed a group of 15 undergraduate dental students and accompanying counsellors from SRM University, Chennai, India, for an educational tour on the 29th of April 2025. The visit aimed to help students gain insights into the functioning of the UAE’s healthcare education system and explore postgraduate learning opportunities in the region.
The visit began with a guided university tour, followed by an interactive walkthrough of the state-of-the-art Digital Dentistry Lab, Dental Simulation Lab, Thumbay Dental Hospital, and the Postgraduate Dental Clinic. During the tour, students learned about the advanced technologies used in preclinical dental training, observed clinical operations, and gained insights into patient-centered care practices.
Faculty members from the College of Dentistry facilitated the visit, offering valuable academic and career guidance.
