Final year dental students Maria Morise, Mohammed Khalid Balaraj, and Omar Bseiso actively participated at the prestigious First Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (RCSEd) UAE International Dental Clinical Skills Competition, hosted by the Ajman University on the 7th of February 2025.
The competition assessed participants’ clinical expertise through full crown preparation and four OSCE stations including teeth arrangement, wire bending, laparoscopy, and origami skills that were all designed to evaluate precision, technical proficiency, and dexterity.
Amidst the tough competition from dental students across the UAE, Mohammed Khalid Balaraj secured the 2nd place, bringing pride to GMU’s College of Dentistry. The faculty extends their heartfelt congratulations to Maria, Mohammed, and Omar for this achievement.
