The College of Dentistry, GMU organized a workshop titled “Prosthodontics: From Conventional to Digital” for dental interns on the 27th of May 2024 at the Thumbay Dental Hospital, Ajman. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Diaaeldin Saad and Dr. Sherif Sadek, Associate Professors of Prosthodontics at the College of Dentistry, GMU.
The workshop comprised of both didactic and practical sessions. The didactic part covered the digital workflow in removable, and fixed prosthodontics. The practical session provided hands-on experience in intraoral scanning and the digital designing of fixed crowns. This comprehensive workshop aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of interns’, bridging the gap between traditional and modern prosthodontic practices.
