The College of Dentistry’s Department of Diagnostic and Surgical Dental Sciences conducted a hands-on workshop for dental interns on ‘Suture types and Suturing techniques’ on the 10th of July 2023.
The workshop emphasized the significance of wound closure in dental procedures and focused on familiarizing interns with different types of sutures, including absorbable and non-absorbable types. In addition to suture types, the workshop also covered various suturing techniques employed in dental practice such as continuous and interrupted suturing.
These techniques were practiced under the guidance of experienced faculty, ensuring that the interns gained practical expertise and are well-prepared to deliver high-quality care to their patients.
