Dental Interns commenced their clinical rotations at Thumbay Hospital, Al Nuaimia, Ajman with a Mega Medical and Dental Camp on the 12th of May 2024. The event marked the beginning of a series of clinical rotations designed to provide hands-on experience and real-world exposure to the future dental professionals under the guidance of experienced faculty.
The camp offered free dental GP consultation along with special discounts on various dental treatments and procedures such as root canal treatment, scaling and polishing, crowns and veneers, and dental x-rays. Amongst the total number of patients approximately 70 patients underwent dental examination.
