Faculty of College of Dentistry, GMU attended and participated in the interactional session with Prof. Henk G. Schmidt, Department of Psychology, Education and Child Studies Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and Institute of Medical Education Research Rotterdam Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The discussions were based on concepts of deliberate reflection, a powerful tool to reduce diagnostic errors and increase diagnostic performance, the impact of context, and the application of dual processing theories; system 1 (intuitive) and system 2 (reflective) in medical diagnosis.
