A course on ‘Atrophic Jaws Rehabilitation with Immediate Loading All-On-4 Treatment’ was held at the College of Dentistry, GMU in association with AB Dental from the 24th – 29th October 2021. The course was spread over two days consisting of theoretical and practical components, and clinical demonstrations.
Prof.Hesham Marei, Dean, College of Dentistry delivered a talk on ‘Computer Guided Surgery using AB Dental Implants’ followed by sessions on ‘Pre-operative evaluation of patients and step by step approach of All-On-4’ by Dr.Camilla Pecora, Professor at the A.N.D.I Latium School for Assistants. Prof. Angelo Cardarelli, Adjunct Professor and tutor at the San Raffaele University of Milan delivered a talk on ‘Prosthetic management: From immediate loading to finalization of the case and management of intraoperative and postoperative complications’. Hands-on-practice was carried out on jaw models and sheep heads. Clinical demonstration involved two surgeries on real patients.
