Dr. Pooja Adtani is currently an Assistant Professor of Oral Pathology at the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, Ajman. She graduated from Bharati Vidhyapeeth Deemed University, Pune and received her Master’s and Doctoral degree from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, India in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, India.

Her research interests include, developing a targeted antifibrotic therapy for Oral Fibrosis. She has worked extensively on the molecular pathways involved in oral fibrosis. Dr. Pooja has several publications to her credit in various international and national indexed journals. She also has several appreciation certificates awarded following participation and contributions in national and international dental congresses, conferences and workshops.

She is zealous about learning different teaching techniques that would enhance student learning and performance. This interest led her to pursue ‘Joint Master’s in Health Profession Education’ program offered by GMU in collaboration with FAIMER.
