Dr. Ayman Khalifa is an Associate Professor of Orthodontics at the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, Ajman. He graduated from Cairo University, Egypt in 1992, following which he received his Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Orthodontics from Cairo University, Egypt. Dr. Khalifa has been invited as a visiting associate professor at John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii, USA. He has also been invited to participate in research related to 3D analysis of craniofacial anomalies at the School of Dentistry, Indiana University, USA. Dr. Khalifa is an active fellow in the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), and an international member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO).
Before moving to the UAE, Dr. Khalifa had taken different academic and clinical positions in Egypt, USA, and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Khalifa was also an Associate Professor at the Egyptian Military Medical Academy, Course Director of the Department of Orthodontics, at October 6 University. Dr.Khalifa was an active orthodontic consultant at Saudi Commission for Health Specialties SCFHS.
In research, Dr. Khalifa has several publications in internationally recognized journals and his research focus is on the applications of 3D technology in cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies, and orthodontic concerns in orthognathic surgeries. Dr.Khalifa has also participated in several international conferences, courses, and lectures all over the world.
