Prof. Emad Saleh Elsubeihi

Dr. Emad Elsubeihi is a highly qualified prosthodontist with extensive experience in teaching and research. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Garyounis, Libya in 1982. Later, he completed his Master of Science in 1990 from the University of London, UK. In 1998, he earned his Diploma in Prosthodontics, followed by a PhD in 2003, both from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Elsubeihi began his academic career as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto in 2002 and went on to hold positions at the University of Garyounis, Benghazi, Libya, and Sharjah University, Sharjah, UAE. He served as a specialist prosthodontist at Tawam Hospital, Al-Ain, UAE, before joining Ajman University in 2012 as an Assistant Professor.
His research interests include the effects of osteoporosis on the mandible, bone physiology of edentulous patients, and immediate loading of osseointegrated implants. He has published several papers in leading international journals, including Cell Tissue Research, Archives of Oral Biology, and Bone, among others. Dr. Elsubeihi has also contributed to numerous books on implant prosthodontics for edentulous patients, prosthodontic treatment, and implant overdentures.
