Prof. Hesham Marei, Dean, College of Dentistry, GMU delivers a keynote lecture titled ‘Navigational Dental Implant Surgery: From Current Practice to Future Direction’ on the 27th of October 2023 at the 36th CAD/CAM Digital & Oral Facial Aesthetic International Conference at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai organized by CAPP events.
Prof. Marei discussed the latest advancements in navigational surgery, highlighting how the integration of cutting-edge technology has improved the precision of dental implant procedures. The use of 3D imaging, guided surgical templates, and computer-aided design (CAD) allows for a level of accuracy never before achievable.
The lecture also emphasized the significance of using these advancements for tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs which are not only functional but also transformative in enhancing oral and facial aesthetics.
