In continuation to the Career Counselling program series, Dr. Sabrin Ali Azim, Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, CoD, delivered a presentation titled “The Roadmap to be an Implantologist” for dental students and interns on the 30th March 2023.
Dr. Sabrin focused on how implantology is revolutionizing modern dentistry and demonstrated its positive impact on patient’s quality of life through different case studies. She also discussed the standard requirements for obtaining dental implantology privileges from the Ministry of Health, U.A.E and the eligibility criteria to specifically practice in the U.A.E. Lastly, she highlighted the career opportunities in the UAE for those interested in implantology.
Overall, the talk was informative and provided a comprehensive roadmap for pursuing a career in implantology.
