College of Dentistry, GMU celebrated the ‘World Oral Health Day’ organized by the community engagement committee of CoD on the 21st and 22nd of March 2022. The event was organized at the Gulf Medical University and the two clinical training sites: Thumbay Dental Hospital, Ajman and Thumbay Medical and Dental Specialty Center, Sharjah. The event focused at spreading awareness and encouraging patients, faculty, and students to have better oral health. Relevant information was provided using educational videos, posters, oral hygiene maintenance kits sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) along with educational brochures. Last but not the least we were a part of the #ProudMouthChallenge and were able to spread awareness to the Global Community.
