A taskforce on how to improve the DMD program

Faculty members of College of Dentistry presented and discussed their vision on how to improve the existing DMD curriculum in the presence of  respected Chancellor, Prof. Hossam Hamdy, Prof. Manda Venkatramana Vice Chancellor Academics, Dr. Sherief Khalifa Dean of College of Pharmacy and Dr. Praveen Kumar K, Dean of College of Health Sciences. The proposed curriculum demonstrates more integration between basic and clinical sciences to provide the students with more relevant and meaningful knowledge during their early academic years. Moreover, it also shows integration between clinical sciences in the ‘Comprehensive Care Dentistry’ (CCD) course which offers patient centered care. The proposed curriculum adds up to a total of 300 clinical contact hours.
