The College of Dentistry conducted ‘Career Counseling Program’ on 7th April 2019 at Gulf Medical University Ajman. The program included presentations by the Guest lecturer from University of Sharjah and by GMU Alumni.
The program was attended by the DMD students and Dental Interns. The presenters shared their experience and discussed how to prepare CVs, how to handle a job interview and how to answer some common interview questions. They also talked about how to apply for the Dental license exam, opportunities for further education and jobs in UAE and globally.
The students actively participated in the discussion. The event was held under the kind guidance and support of Prof. Manda Venkatramana, Vice Chancellor and Acting Dean of College of Dentistry. Certificates were distributed to the speakers by Dr. Sura Ali Ahmed (Associate Dean Academics) and Dr. Hossam Abdelatty (Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs). The program was a huge success which benefits all students and interns to prepare for the next step in their life.
