Seminar and Workshop on Emerging Trends in the Use of Antibiotics in Pediatric Dentistry were organized by the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University on Friday, 21st September 2018 at Thumbay Medicity, Ajman. The event was accredited by MOHAP for 8 CME hours. College of Dentistry once again attempts new frontier giving a new dimension to Continuing Dental Education in the region. Speakers with their tremendous teaching experience delivered thorough and up to date information raising concern towards a very important issue in Pediatric Dentistry- Inadvertent usage of Antibiotic. The event received 81 registered participants from all the Emirates. Feedback was taken by all the attending dentists and was positive. With the answers provided by open-ended questions, the college will be planning various such events to stay ahead with the changing trends and further contributing to the Healthcare society in UAE.
