Under the patronage and esteemed presence of Dr Thumbay Moideen, Honorable President of Thumbay Group, the board members of Gulf Medical University, respected Chancellor Prof. Hossam Hamdy, respected Vice Provost Prof. Manda Venkataramana and respected Dean of College of Dentistry Prof. Mohamed Said Hamed, new batch of enthusiastic students were welcomed and oriented to the DMD program on 4th Sept 2018 and white coats were conferred on 5th Sept 2018. The respected Chancellor Prof. Hossam Hamdy gave a welcome address to the students. Respected Vice Provost Prof. Manda Venkataramana recited the Hypocrite’s oath and the students repeated it after being asked to wear their white coats. Lara Kanjee and Mirna Khan presented bouquets to the delegates and Miss Malaika and Mr Karam received the white coat on stage from Honorable President Dr Thumbay Moideen on behalf of the freshers. Students presented a memento to Dr Thumbay as a token of respect and gratitude. It was a joyous event for students and parents!!
