Dr. Nelly Abdelsalam has a bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery with a general degree: Excellent with honor (May 2001), following which she earned her master’s degree in Endodontics in 2010 and her Doctoral Degree in Endodontics in 2016 from the Faculty of Dentistry, Suez Canal University, Egypt.

Before moving to the United Arab Emirates, she was an Associate professor of Endodontics at Suez Canal University and Misr International University, Egypt. She was also a visiting Professor at Beirut Arab University from 2016-2024. She is a member of the scientific committee of the Egyptian Board of Endodontics.

She worked as an Endodontic consultant in Egypt. Her field of experience includes root canal treatment & retreatment, regenerative endodontic procedures, management of traumatic dental injuries, and surgical endodontics.

She has spent over 21 years in university education, with a passion and commitment to the mission of nurturing competent and competitive dental professionals.

She firmly believes that scientific research is the bedrock of academic progress, enabling the discovery and validation of scientific facts. Driven by this conviction, she is dedicated to conducting cutting-edge research. She has many publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals; she is also a member of collaborative research projects with esteemed universities in England and Germany to advance the frontiers of knowledge. She is also a reviewer for several journals indexed in the Web of Science.
