Dr. Diaaeldin Saad, Associate Professor of Prosthodontics, presented his research on ‘post-cementation sensitivity in fixed partial dentures’. The study, based on a double-blinded randomized clinical trial, offered critical insights into the effectiveness of various adhesive resin cements, providing practical guidance for minimizing postoperative sensitivity and enhancing patient outcomes.
Dr. Srinivas presented his research titled “Systemic Azithromycin as an Adjunct to Non-Surgical Treatment of Stage III/IV, Grade C Periodontitis: A Randomized Controlled Trial.” The 12-month study emphasized the careful use of antimicrobials in advanced periodontitis cases while adhering to the principles of antimicrobial stewardship.
