The Students Happiness Center of the College of Dentistry, GMU organized a leadership workshop titled “Mastering Effective Communication: Essential Skills for Leadership Success.” for Year 1 Dental Students on the 5th of November 2024. The session was facilitated by Dr. Nermin Kamal, an NLP Master Practitioner, Specialist Restorative Dentist and Implantologist, CoD, GMU.
Dr. Nermin shared her expertise on the important role of communication in effective leadership, introducing participants to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) as a tool to enhance interpersonal skills and foster personal growth. NLP techniques were explored to build rapport and recognize communication patterns. The workshop equipped the students with practical strategies for stronger leadership and professional relationships.
