The Dental Internship Program at the College of Dentistry, GMU organized a workshop for dental interns on ‘Revisiting the art and science of Impression Materials’ on the 24th of November 2023 at the Thumbay Dental Hospital, Ajman, UAE. The workshop was facilitated by Dr.Shakeel.S.Khazi, Lecturer and Specialist in Prosthodontics, CoD.
Dr. Khazi shared invaluable insights, on both theoretical foundations and practical applications of impression materials. Dr. Khazi further elaborated on the different types of impression materials, their clinical manipulation and selection of impression materials in different clinical case scenarios.
The workshop also offered hands-on experiences to ensure application of theoretical knowledge in a clinical setting effectively.
