College of Dentistry’s faculty and students actively participated at the 36th CADCAM Digital & Oral Facial Aesthetic International Conference on the 27th & 28th October 2023 at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai organized by CAPP events.
Amongst the four posters presented by dental students, the poster titled ‘Perception of 4th Year Dental Students on the use of Rotary Instruments in Endodontics’ presented by Ms. Maria Morise; supervised by Dr. Bassem Mohamed, and Dr. Tarek Elsewify from the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences, won the 1st place award. Following which the poster titled ‘Advanced Diagnostic for TMJ Disorder Impacted Third Molar Infiltration Using State of The Technology at Gulf Medical University: A Case Report’ presented by Ms. Rawan Alkhattabi, Ms. Fatima Hassoon, and Mr. Mohammed Khalid; supervised by Dr. Sabrin Ali Azim and Dr. Shoaib Tippu from the Department of Diagnostic and Surgical Dental Sciences and Dr. Diaaeldin Saad, Associate Professor of Fixed Prosthodontics won the 3rd place award.
