As a significant milestone in the rollout of the recently established Digital Dentistry Lab at GMU’s College of Dentistry. A comprehensive two-day training session was organized for faculty members on the 4th and 5th of September 2023. The training was led by Dr. Mais Aswad from Medica/Planmeca Company and covered a wide range of digital dentistry aspects, including intra-oral scanning, CAD (Software design), and the milling process for restorations. This workshop is a part of the college’s plan to conduct a series of workshops targeted at the faculty members, staff and students to equip them with the most advanced knowledge and skills related to digital dentistry.
