Thumbay Dental Hospital, Ajman recently organized a Journal Club Presentation Series, featuring a talk by Prof. Hossam Abdelatty, Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, CoD, on ‘Oral Biofilm Management’ on the 21st of March 2023 for dental students, interns and postgraduate students. The presentation focused on various issues related to oral biofilm, as well as effective strategies for achieving healthy oral tissues.
Prof. Abdelatty discussed the causes of biofilm formation, its impact on oral health, and the different methods used to manage it. He also highlighted the importance of preventative measures, such as regular dental check-ups and good oral hygiene habits.
