Dr. Walid Elsayed, Associate Dean of Academics, College of Dentistry, GMU contributed as a resource person for the faculty development program on ‘Academic Writing and Reference Management’ on the 24th of January 2023. The session aimed to equip faculty members with the latest knowledge and techniques for producing high-quality academic writing and effectively managing references including the use of reference management software such as ‘Endnote’.
Dr. Walid’s engaging and interactive presentation covered the essentials of academic writing, including the structure of a research paper, the importance of clear and concise writing, and the art of crafting a compelling argument.
The session received an overwhelmingly positive feedback.
