College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University hosted the 1st Dental Summit in the United Arab Emirates on the 5th of January 2021. The summit was attended by the deans of all dental colleges and dental leaders from academic and healthcare frontiers of various universities (Ajman University, City University College of Ajman, European University College, Mohammed Bin Rashid University, RAK College of Medical and Health Sciences University, University of Sharjah and University of Science and Technology of Fujairah). The meeting was also attented by representatives from both the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s Dental section and Ministry of Education, UAE. The goal of the meeting was to create a framework that defines the competencies of the UAE dental graduates.
