A guest lecture on ‘3D Printing in Dentistry’ was held on 25th August 2018 at the Gulf Medical University, Ajman, guest speakers Dr.D.Arunachalam and Dr. CK. Dilipkumar were invited from Chennai, India. The lecture introduced the concept of computer-aided design and manufacturing with a specific focus on theoretical concepts, principles and the different software’s used in 3D printing as it is applied today in clinical dentistry.
