Dental Students Participate in the Annual Student Dental Conference, University of Sharjah

Dental students of the 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th year, Gulf Medical University actively participated in the ‘Annual Student Dental Conference’ conducted on 9^th & 10^th February 2020 at University of Sharjah. Students (Ahmed Medhat, Suhail, Huda, Yara and Jasim) attended scientific academic sessions and workshops on ‘Anterior and Posterior Composites’. A team of 4 dental students (Syeda Zainab, Fahmida, Suhail and Ahmed Medhat) participated in the 8^th Dental Olympics Competition, that involved  performing radiographic interpretation, suturing, orthodontic wire bending, class IV restorations and porcelain fused to metal crown preparation. The students were guided and supervised by Prof. Hesham Marei, Dean of College of Dentistry, Dr. Heba Mohamed, Assistant Professor, Operative Dentistry and Dr. Ahmed Atef Shon, Associate Professor and Specialist, Removable Prosthodontics.
