College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, Ajman organized a workshop on ‘Update on Oral Hygiene’ on 3rd February 2020. Dr. Michaela Von Geijer, a practicing dentist and odontological expert from the Lunds University, Sweden delivered a lecture that focused on existing evidence supporting the benefits and importance of interdental cleaning and plaque control. An extended hands on session was conducted in the phantom lab, as the dental students learned techniques for using interdental brushes and flossing.
